    The Social Media Sniffing Trend Prediction Engine

    Social-Monitoring Engine with the power to monitor live social traffic across facebook and twitter while providing real-time trends and statistics.
    This software bulks in all the chatter over the linked social networks and classifies them into semantic clusters. These clusters are formed in real-time based on various features of the incoming feed, throwing down an n-dimensional set. This set lays the base for Neural networks to determine correlation between different events. The news gathering engine bulks in data from various news channels, RSS feeds and links out the Neural network data to determine reliable sources. This gives the system ammunition to state with confidence what are the topics that will trend in a specified time from now.
    The system currently provides statistical as well as predictive set of potential trends with an accuracy of 84% along with supporting factors.

    Currently deployed and used by M.S.Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences provides a complete end to end Management Solution for all academic aspects of a university. The solution provides modules of student performance monitoring, attendance and timetable monitoring to determine student work-load, Employee time-tracking and Employee Work-time Analytics as well as the Stream-Specific Rule Engine capable of adapting to custom defined work-flows like promotion and reconciliation. The HR Modules keep all operations of the university transparent and efficient. The Secure File Server provides a platform for internal document sharing in the university as well as secure uploads for confidential documents like Question Papers with University control over quality and content of material shared. Additional modules like Asset Management and Custom reports are available as a part of this system.

  • Curb - The Virtual Dietitian : CurbHq, UK

    The Curb Framework adds in the power of data sciences over the vast quantum of data available in the food space, thereby classifying the food into its constituents and evaluating its compositions. 

    The back-end is capable of analyzing the impact of any food on a person's weight and predict the change based on this. Healthy eating alternatives by recognizing taste and classification of foods present user with the set of different foods and recipes given any incoming food. The virtual dietitian engine curated by the dietitians themselves is a learning system which generates recommendations and monitors food intake and variance personalized to each user. The engine is capable answering questions like "What do I eat now so what my weight is reduced by 4 pounds in the next 2 weeks" or "I need a snack!". Curating information from different restaurants' menus, the engine rates out the foods as per their nutrition on a scale of 1-5 (5 being best) personalized for the user's food habits, allergies and preferences.
    NightHack has made this engine possible with The Curb team - a very passionate bunch of engineers who aim to solve a very real problem of food habits.

    Modular integratable Plug board capable of detecting devices from their reactance signature.

    This in-house product is backed by Microsoft R&D, U.K. and streamed by the NightHack R&D team.
    The system is available in high-power and low-power models depending on the devices they are meant to drive. The Smart Switch provides a convenient way of turning any place into a smart-grid without having to replace any existing systems.
    The add-on module provides live monitoring, device control and power-consumption analytics. With the R&D added in, this product, unlike any other, is capable of detecting the device plugged in and eliminates the tiresome task involving user to specify each time a new device is plugged in.

  • HealthConnect : The Patient Monitoring platform

    HealthConnect : A Live patient monitoring tool capable of detecting pattern variations in vitals to generate alerts.

    This is a tool for the health segment developed in-house by the NightHack research team to enable live tracking of chronic patients. It allows easy connect between doctors and their patients to schedule appointments while presenting the doctor with necessary health stats monitored by various wearables in order to be sure if the patient needs to travel at all. The platform also integrates e-prescription and filling, remote connect (live face to face facilitated by google talk) and secure patient data handling from multiple doctors. The analytics tool under development is working on detecting what a normal rhythm for any kind of patient is, thereby detecting variations from this normal and raising alerts to the reporting doctor. Healthcare is better personalized when you know there is someone looking after you, and with the accuracy of a machine, you will never be ignored.

    The current project aim is to reduce false positives in the detected patterns and requires capability in data sciences. Also, a kickass UI is required to present the user segments (patients and doctors) with a friendly and integral UX.
